Kid Cudi Announces WZRD Album Release Date, Info

"Fans of Kid Cudi rejoice. He has announced that his “rock” (influenced) group with Dot da Genius will now be called WZRD instead of Wizard and that their album is dropping on January 30th, 2011. The title of the album was previously called 2 be Continuum, but Cudi says they scrapped that and are working on a new title. Also interesting, Cudi says there will be zero profanity on the album. A snip of the album single should be out soon…"

Here’s some new Cudi for fans to add to their collection. Not much information is given for the track, but many have speculated that the origin of the line “that sh*t cray” to have been birthed through this song, which you can hear in the intro. Check it out..

Kid Cudi to Drop “Wizard” Album in December

Cudi Hopped on twitter to say a few things and released this quote!

Ima need everyone to understand, when this Wizard album drops, the world of music is going to change, for the better. I promise. December! I know people doubt my art, but i love that. Ive always said it and ima say it again now, we aint playin no more. King Wizard hoe! ha. I never dissappoint, even though some may strongly disagree. If you don’t already know, the Wizard project it a collaboration between Kid Cudi and his producer Dot da Genius in association with his band 2 Be Continuum. It will be a complete Rock album. The album is set to release this December under Cudi’s newly formed label, Wicked Awesome Records. Cudi also promised to release a rap album for his rap fans and that will be called "A Man named Scott" so look out for that around then as well

"How To Make It In America" -Season 2 Quick Review

"Saw the first couple of episodes a few nights ago and just wanted to comment. Essentially, if you don’t already know what the show is about, How to Make it in America is a show about two guys who are trying to hustle their way in to the fashion industry via their line called Crisp. Season one ends on a high note as they made a big sell in Japan.

Season two picks up with the guys in Japan and returning back to the U.S. soon thereafter to try and find success in their own city of New York. It’s a very light watch, which is fine as long as it’s entertaining. Included in the first few episodes are a Roc Nation and Jay-Z shout, someone getting shot, Avicii’s music, a familiar face from The Wire, Wilfredo Gomez, and much more. No spoilers. For those curious, Kid Cudi’s role is extended this season and he’s got some funny one-liners as he shows off his dog-walking business.

Definitely check it out when it premieres this coming Sunday night after Boardwalk Empire."

Kid Cudi announces new Band & new Label name

 Late last week, Cleveland's own Kid cudi announced his newly formed label and the name of his band, which I assume will be traveling with him from now on. No more Dream On…the new label is Wicked Awesome Records. The bands name? To be no mention yet...but we will keep you posted!
